“Impressive setting, water so expensive?!”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 20, 2009

We're glad we experienced this restaurant as it was quite an impressive setting and some of our party who chose of the non-set menu really enjoyed the food. The seafood soup was delicious. However, we were told they wouldn't serve tap water and the bottled water was so over-priced. Drink wine and bring your own water!

“Great atmosphere and service; good value”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 15, 2009

This restaurant is a good all rounder and centrally situated. You will probably need to book and would recommend the second sitting (8pm) as if you have the first one at 6 you will probably feel rushed. Good quality food - the steak and chicken very tasty, but wouldnt say it was exceptional nor exciting. Wine good value for Bruges. Excellent and friendly service. Was open on a Monday night which is not the case for some restaurants.

“Excellent Value and Food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 7, 2009

Decided to abandon the "Brugges Standard Menu" and definately got the better deal.
The Scampi in Garlic Butter was the best we have ever tasted, the garlic not being to strong or leaving an aftertaste.
Trout was cooked to perfection and came off the bone without any problems.
Both meals served with a small salad ganish and the standard belgium fare of chips.
Dessert was the icing on thecake and both were excellent.
Two of the local Brugges Zot beers and a bottle of water later we stil got a bit of change from our 50 euro.
Atmosphere was warm and cozy with some funky but not intrusive jazz on the radio.
Service was excellent and friendly from the two waiters,
Reccomended!
