We stayed here for one night with two persons. The B&B is easy reachible by tram from the train station (Gent-St. Pieters) and you could walk or take the tram to the city center. However, walking right to the center takes more than two minutes, rather 15 or 20. The owner really is very nice and helpful, definitively speaks more languages than me (Dutch, German, English, Spanish...). There is free w-lan and a good breakfast.
The B&B is on the second floor of the house and from the breakfast-/sitting-room you have a nice view over the river and a small elevated porch to sit in the sun. Beautiful! The room we stayed in was to the street front and relly quite noisy (tram, cars, motorbikes...). As the whole building is quite old and niceley renovated, the windows are also quite old and thus do not keep the noise out.
All in all, I would recommend this B&B (and the city itself), but some smaller improvements could be made (better windows to the front, a second towel in the bath...).
