Sadly deluded by the debatable title of "Best french fries in Brussels", we stood in line for more than 90 minutes in one of the two waiting lines. Only two people could be served at one time while there were four counters available. Very slow service.
As if that wasn't enough, they didn't have any "boulettes" anymore, and the carbonade-sauce was also out-of-stock. This establishment has passed the 60-years mark, yet they can't keep their stocks filled appropriately? This is completely ridiculous as boulettes is just a meatball and should be really easy to get a hold of and easy to store. This is amateurism, never ever have I encountered a frituur which doesn't have this in stock anymore.
The french fries themselves were good, but not enough. I'm a tall 75kg guy, I get hungry. Yet a "big" portion plus a "small" portion weren't enough.
Don't be fooled by the hype. Go elsewhere.
