“A wonderful stay in Brussels”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 23, 2013

Dominique and Armel were wonderful hosts! We stayed here for 3 nights in a very comfortable room. The location is awesome if you are travelling by train, it is just around the corner from the station. Dominique makes a wonderful (and enormous) breakfast which is included in the tariff. We had the bedroom at the front of the house and there was no noise from the street below. Armel was a wealth of information as to what we should see and do in Brussels. We would definitely recommend staying at Chez Dominique.

We had a great 3 night stay at Chez Dominique. The B&B has a very good location, close to Central Station, the Grand Place and a lot of the attractions. The two rooms for rent are located in the hosts apartment, wich is tastefully decorated and spotless clean. We stayed in Room Montagne, wich is beautiful and very comfortable, with en-suite bathroom. Armel and Dominique, the hosts, are very nice people, friendly and helpful. Every morning, Dominique prepared a delicious breakfast for us, with great breads, pastries, cheeses and cold meats, fruits, coffee and home-made jams and yogurt (so good!!!). We really enjoyed our time in Brussels and would definitely stay again at this lovely B&B.

I have stayed at this lovely b&b earlier on, but this time a brought my family. The B&B has a very good location, close to the Station Centraaland Grand Place. You can walk to a lot of the attractions in Brussels. The owner Dominique and Armel are very kind and service-minded people.
The two rooms are very clean and nice decorated and you get a very tasteful breakfast and a lot of advice on restaurants and things to see when in Brussels.

We had an excellent 4 nights' stay at Chez Dominique. The bed was very comfortable and, as light sleepers, we appreciated how quiet the room was at night. Very nice breakfast We would definitely stay again.

We arrived in Brussels during a cold snap and we were just about frozen to the core when we arrived at the door of Chez Domique, (located very conveniently to the Gare Central, just a quick 2 block walk following Armel's superb advance directions sent by email). As soon as Dominique and Armel greeted us at the door we thawed out. Their warmth and hospitality was evident right from the start. Their home is beautiful, artistic and comfortable. Dominique and Armel struck just the right balance in their friendliness without being overly attentive. They have on hand a myriad of Brussels guidebooks and were eager to give advice according to our interests. When it came time to leave (for us, a dawn departure to catch the Eurostar), Armel not only got up at this ridiculously early hour, he walked with us to the train station, helping us with our bags! Truly beyond the call of duty! Finally, I might add that we LOVED Brussels--such a friendly, unpretentious city with so much to see and do. It seems under-rated with American tourists--I hope to return to see all the museums and sites I missed on this first visit. It's also a great base for zipping by train for day trips to Ghent, Antwerp, Bruges, Lille, etc. And when I return, there is no question that I would stay again Chez Dominique!

My boyfriend and I instantly fell in love with this B&B. It was so easy to find and close to the train station! The location is amazing because you're right in the city centre but based on a quiet little road leading off from it. The Christmas market was visible from our window! The Grand Place and all the other attractions were only a minutes walk away! The owners Dominique and Armel were truly lovely people, very friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to make us feel welcome, especially with breakfast in the morning. Fresh orange juice, fresh croissants, eggs, yoghurts and baguettes with ham and cheese. Lovely! Our room and the apartment in general were so cosy and spotless. It felt like home. The walk in shower was wonderful! If you're planning a break in Brussels this is the place to stay. Can't fault it!

We booked this based on the excellent TA reviews. Pleasantly surprised it was so close to the Grote Markt (town square). First floor apartment with a lift. Only one of two bedrooms, both have their own bathroom/toilet. Free wifi, comfy bed, fantastic cooked breakfast by Dominique. Dominique and Armel are great hosts. They gave us maps, suggested places to see and eat at. If you're lucky, Armel will share his own brewed Belgium beer with you. Great b&b.
