“The worst japanese restaurant ever”

Hi there,
Before detailing my comments, I would like to highlight I have lived 5 years in Japan and am a native speaker as well, so I know what to expect when I go to a Japanese restaurant.
For sure I can tell you this is the worst japanese restaurant I have ever been to. Although the menu looks stunning in the first place, the waiter told us the sushi would take us very long time, how long we asked, 30min he replied, we waited 1 hour or so, and only had some green tea to fill our starving stomachs, no explanations, no notice, no apologies, amazingly amateur attitude for a restaurant that pretends to be good for business and romantic date. Maybe it was a bad evening, but honestly, if I look at it, the service was useless, no excuses when we left because we were so fed up.
Even the worst ramen shop close to shinjuku station is better than this restaurant, and it is 100 times cheaper and you get served quickly.

We wanted to test it and so we did. The food is good, but not outstanding. There is a pretty large choice of dishes, covering most of the japanese food types.
Only 3 stars because of the price (the food doesn't deserve such an high one) and because the waiters were not Japanese at all (though they do speak japanese ).
They tried to make a typical japanese atmosphere with high standings, but it just look like an empty, dark place with a few tables to me (i didn't see any same-looking restaurant in .jp ...).
So, a good place, but way to expensive for what it is.

Expensive japanese food - with the mood of high class hotels. Very fine food, well beyond the classic Sushis & sashimis
