“Good value traditional cafe/restaurant”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 22, 2013

This traditional restaurant was a blessing on a recent winter trip to Brussels are we had both a breakfast and supper here. Its warm and cosy with a nice welcome from the staff. The food is very reasonably priced for the good quality and you can sit and look at all the fabulous cakes and pastries in the window while you eat. You could also call in on the amazing bar La Mort Subite opposite for a beer.

“good quality food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 19, 2013

The place to be if you're a tourist wanting to enjoy your trip by not breaking the bank at the same time fulfilling your gastronomic adventures. Great ambience, not intimidating. Staff speak English so there's no struggle with the language barrier. Good looking display of their pastries but was unable to try as the mussels with frites were very filling.

“Good lunch time choice”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 12, 2013

Visited this restaurant,on a very cold day in February, whilst freezing outside,Acadia provided a warm, friendly, buzzing enviroment,at lunch time, packed with locals, always a good sign!.tables are packed close together, which all adds to the atmosphere, always interesting to check out what the people on the next table have ordered!menu extensive, rustic, mostly traditional Belgium fare, food good sized portions, tasty and filling, good value for money.Wine comes in a carafe and by Belgium standards cheap.Cakes and pastries superb, fruit tart delicious!!! all in all a good experience, would definitely of gone back had we stayed longer.

“good food, nothing too fancy.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed February 6, 2013

We were told to visit this place and we decided we would go for dinner. The service was decent and the food was quick to come out too. Desserts looked really good although we didn't have any. The atmosphere was really good too. It wasn't the best place but it was a good place to go to.
