“wonderful”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 19, 2013

Great impression when you walk in. Very sober tables, great art on the walls, a pool with fresh fish and a fine menu. Little soles looked very good, tuna was just grilled and really pink inside and the mixed grilled fish looked also very nice. Maybe just a bit too much on the quantity..... I could have done with less.

Very reasonable wine list.

A great address to share with friends.

“Leaves you feeling better about Brussels”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 27, 2012

An excellent lunch-time escape from noisy tourists and well worth the easy 10-min walk from Grand Place. Neighborhood feel; attentive, courtly service; perfectly prepared fresh salmon, good wine and generous portions of pommes frites. A more satisfying overall experience than at other, often more expensive restaurants.

“Fresh fish, tasteful decor and good fries”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 20, 2012

Excellent service and attentive staff who were able to fit us in on a Saturday night at the last minute and even answer our request for a window table.
The fish was excellent, not just exceptionally fresh but superbly executed.
Fish soup, cod cheeks, cod, fish grill were all delicious and one of the best surprises i've had at a restaurant - that I have not researched and pre-booked.
The pommes frites were really good (which makes a difference) and the desserts were well worth the splurge. My friend had the chocolate mousse and although I'm not a huge chocolate fan I still tell people about how good it was.

It is not a place to go for great ambiance or for a romantic night out but it will fit the bill for all your other needs.

I'll be back for sure.

“A Fine Catch”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 1, 2012

The food here is excellent. The fish is very fresh, served simply. Good wines to accompany. The decor is as clean and interesting as the food. Go for the art as well (Cobra school). A very pleasant find off the tourist path ( it seemed) Some of the best food of our trip: grilled turbot, seafood mixed grill, fish and chips (but no heavy batter). If you love fresh fish this is a great catch. Helpful wait staff.

“Very sweet fish restaurant”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 22, 2012 via mobile

We were served by a very attentive staff and the food was wonderful. Traditional and simple fish dishes cooked to perfection, we couldn't be happier. The apple donuts for dessert were to die for. Go here for an enjoyable relaxed dinner experience with absolutely fresh produce.
