“Horrible experience!!!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed October 22, 2012 via mobile

It was about the 10th occasion in this restaurant. Until this time : never ever a problem. But it was our last visit. The food as always, the atmosphere as always: good portion, nice meal and cosy, friendly style. Then we had a surprise: we asked a Moroccan wine, type of shyraz, 30 euros. My friend, a big wine taster, sad that the wine is not good, a little bit still in fermentating, with strange acid connotation. Others around the table tasted as well, there was a real problem. I asked the waiter to change, but much to my surprise he tasted, too an sad that the wine is good! Then, we had a small conflict, but they did not change the wine!!!! The waiter was so unpolite that we wanted to leave the restaurant, in spite of the fact, that starters have been already served!!!finally,we asked an another bottle of wine, it was fine, but we had to pay for the bad wine as well. I had never this kind of experience. It was a horrible, the waiter was arrogant. especially that my friends were invited by us!!!!! Never again!!!!!

“Nice atmosphere, good food, nothing extraordinary”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 5, 2012

I had a very nice evening in the restaurant, the waiter was nice and funny, it was a nice atmosphere. The food was good and fresh, but they are not very experimental with spices etc - it's very classic and not so Morrocan actually. But good basic dishes and okay prices for Brussels (main courses: 12-17 euros, but wine is expensive, house wine is already 20 euros - so I didn't try it)

“Morrocon food to a higher level”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 23, 2012

Morrocon food, but a bit more than what you may be used to. Definitely worth trying the tajine and other classics. I wasn't a fan of the desserts, but that is because I am not a sweettooth and the North African desserts are sugar bombs.

“Very good moroccan restaurant.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 19, 2012 via mobile

The location of this restaurant is in the central and fashionable rue Dansaert. We have dined in this place several times and every time the food and the service have been very good indeed.

The decor is wonderful but the tables are a bit too many so the feeling is of a cramped environment.

The dishes are very well known and their execution is comparable to the ones we loved in many restaurants in Fez or Marrakesh. As I have written elsewhere this is not a super cheap reataurant but as ever you have to pay if you want quality. Moreover, Brussels - unfortunately - is not a cheap city when it comes to eating ot.

Without a doubt Kasbah is our favourite Maroccan restaurant in Brussels!
