“Buzzing and Trendy Brasserie”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 28, 2013

We love this Brasserie. The décor is a great makeover of a Bank and you can even have a Cigar in the old vault downstairs after 10PM.
Oysters and Lobster are always fresh due to high turnover but be warned prices are not cheap.
The rest of the carte is classic well executed brasserie fayre.
Service is also attentive despite the crowds.
Be sure to book. They often have 2 sittings : one around 7PM the other 9PM
My 15 y.o. Also loved eating here sipping on a nojito (yes a mojito with no alcohol!)
Bon appetit !

“High end Restaurant with beautiful interior”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 28, 2013

We had a great and refined menu (brewer's menu). the setting was wonderful, but as we sat in the middle of the restaurant, it became a little bit noisy after a while. The friendly waiters, the delicious food and the superb ceiling are the main reason to go there.

“Good in parts”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed May 28, 2013

Fabulous, opulent location, excellent service, and it was great to be able to spend an entire evening over dinner and not be hovered over. The food is interesting. One should feel comfortable to trust oysters from a restaurant with its own oyster bar, and the Belga Queen's special seafood salad was a delight. But the steak tartare was unexpected - a huge blob of minced beef with no obvious additional components. Great fries and accompaniments, but the meat was... just a blob of raw meat. Steak tartare needs those extra flavours and it needs something to break up the meat. A great big blob of meat just felt... wrong... Two days later, my stomach is still unsttled, and this is the dish which comes to mind. A restaurant definitely worth visiting, but I would urge against the tartare. Seafood platters looked amazing and I wish we'd had one of those.

“Great atmosphere ok food”

Food was decent. Empty for a sundy at 1 PM. I would come back again for dinner. But not so convinced for lunch. 100 characters.

“Remember to lock the door in the washroom!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 24, 2013

It is a very nice restaurant with beautiful decoration. The food was beautifully presented and tasted wonderful. Plenty of drinks available including the typical long list of local beers.

It's washroom is another interesting attraction. Each toilet cubicle has got glass door which is totally transparent when it is not occupied. As soon as you lock the door, the glass door is frosted up so it is not transparent anymore and blocking people from seeing you doing your business inside. Us ladies has to remind each other to LOCK the door to avoid embarrassment, we had a good laugh nevertheless.

There is a sushi bar near the entrance which seems quite popular too.

It is within walking distance to the beautiful Brussels square with many pub and restaurant nearby.

However it is a bit pricey - for 14 of us with starter, main and drinks the bill comes to over €1000.
