I was looking for somewhere to eat in the St Catherine area and saw this restaurant offering a 'Menu Belge' between two rather larger and more eye-catching establishments. The food was very well prepared and presented: the wild boar Jambon d'Ardennes starter delicious, much nicer than Parma ham (and I am fond of that), the beef stew likewise and Glace Speculoos rounded the meal off very nicely. Eaten with a couple of glasses of very nice biere d'abbaye (I can't remember the name, but had not come across it before) it was a most enjoyable meal. The waiter was very attentive and chef came to talk to the customers, he seemed genuinely interested in our comments. All-in-all a very nice experience and I am very happy to recommend this restaurant. The only reason I have not awarded an 'excellent' rating is that it was rather lacking in atmosphere, at most there were four customers during my meal; it was a rather grey Monday evening in June, but even so other restaurants in the square seemed much busier. For food and drink though it certainly was 'excellent' in my opinion.
