“Not convincing”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed May 2, 2013

This is of course one of the best Hotels in town. But I didn't use these facilities. We just went for a beer in the bar. We ordered a Duvel (6€) and a Blue Chimay (6€) and this was served with some wasabicrackers and peanuts with oignon-garlic taste. Quite original. But the fact these beers were not served in an adapted glass made the experience less interesting. These kind of beers need their glass (or a similar). It was even worse that they present you the bottle but the one of Duvel had no label at all. You had to believe. Staff is friendly and the atmosphere as a real chique. We saw some food passing by and it smelled and looked delicious. Have to turn back to get convinced.

“first class”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 5, 2012

as a regular customer with my wife , on a weekly basis for the past 15 years ,
let me sincerely confirm that whether you want to enjoy a quiet afternoon on your own or wish to make an appointment with someone , whether you want to have a business discussion or have a romantic rendez-vous , if you want to celebrate something special or have a family gathering , whether you wish to have a drink and/or eat something , this is most probably the best first-class spot in Brussels .
service is excellent , atmosphere is cosy and personnel is extremely friendly .
congratulations to the bar's manager and his team .

“A touch of class”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 5, 2012 via mobile

Quite simply one of my favourite places in Brussels. Stunning bar, comfortable loungey atmosphere and quality service. You will find classic cocktails done to perfection or inventive creations to get your tastebuds excited!
On Saturdays Loui bar hosts a jazzy tea time not to be missed. So sit back, relax and enjoy!

“Leather couches and armchairs make this cigar bar a must stop!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 5, 2011

Inside the Crown Jewel of the Conrad European Property (The Conrad Brussels), tucked away on the second flow is Loui- a cigar bar. When I sank into one of the leather armchairs with my colleagues my first thought was "wow- too bad I am going to eventually have to get up!". I am NOT a cigar smoker- but my colleagues thoroughly enjoyed looking at the humidors and ordering up some exotic smokes. Drink menu was at least 50 pages. I like it simple- and got what I wanted. The atmosphere (better not be allergic to smoke) was perfection for after dinner conversations. The place holds about 30 people (air tight doors keep you isolated from the rest of the hotel)...but it never felt claustrophobic- just cozy on a typical wet October Belgium night.

I loved the place- and could not help but wonder if a few heads from the almost defunct BE government spent a few hours in Loui- could the great warm conivial atmostphere help them sort out their differences?
