“Perfect!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 18, 2013

Spotlessly Clean, with modern bathroom and fittings, super comfy beds with luxurious towels and sheets, a TV with plenty of English channels (we where snowed in for a day!) plenty of room with a lovely buffet breakfast, and very wam welcome from the owners who where very kind and always helpful. A faultless stay if we are honest, (yes the walls are thin but this didn't cause us any issues). We got a taxi to it as we arrived very late, but it really is in the middle of everything and there are some lovely less touristy restaurants close by. As English tea drinkers a kettle in the room would have been a nice touch, but there was free coffee and a kettle downstairs next door (we are just lazy!) Perfect if you want to stay right in the heart of Brussels without paying a fortune!

Just returned from 3 days in Brussels.
This b & b must be the best in Brussels. In a good location for all the sites.
The staff are extremely helpful and the rooms excellent, very clean with luxurious bedding and towels. The breakfast had something for everybody with coffee available any time of day.
We would certainly recommend this place to friends and family and if we return to Brussels in the future We will definately stay here.Thank you to Mario and his staff for making our stay so enjoyable.

Sometimes I really think I am lucky. My opinion relies in finding B&B`s like this one, very nice and with minor drawbacks. Even more, I caught a smart deal, with a low price for a “last minute”. Very central, very very clean and cleaned daily, with a helpful and kind owner, what could be better?! I stayed in Luna room, at ground floor and one complain (very small) was related to guests above. Indeed, the wood structure makes you hear everything and extremely loud noises made by young pairs (!) are not highly appreciated after a day of work. The same for the sounds of dropped objects on the floor at midnight..The heating was the other little problem, with periods of very hot heaters, and others quite cold. Maybe it was an unfortunate programing of the heater, I didn`t bother me much. Among the advantages: a good bed, wonderful towels, tasty breakfast and over all, the espresso machine with a good coffee, who “saved” my life the first day (after having a long and very early flight, I was supposed to visit B x…which without the before mentioned coffee, could be an impossible task...) The area around seems quite safe, contrary to other zones of Bx…seemingly, this EU cradle becomes more and more unsafe, a thing who amazes me as time goes by.. The street itself is perfectly quiet.

Room Tip: Avoid Luna room if you cannot cope with a very steep stair leading at the basement bathroom. However...

Mario and his staff are exceptional, the location is perfect, the building is fun and historic, the rooms are VERY nice and the breakfast is delicious! The only drawback were the thin walls, but as long as you have quite/respectful guest neighbors it's not a big deal. The B&B is on a quiet street so the loudest thing we heard was a sneeze from the room below, which my wife responded with a kind "God Bless You". Otherwise, we highly recommend.

Room Tip: The top level room is worth it... MUCH more space, mini kitchenette, and the roof windows allow for...

We had a wonderful stay in this little Bed & Breakfast. The price they offered was unbeatable for a period when it seemed that all hotel prices have rocketed in Bruxelles. It is very centrally located, on a narrow, peaceful street near the Bourse de Bruxelles and Grand Place. The room was small and basic, but very clean and the sheets were magnificent. They also have a breakfast buffet included in the price (boiled eggs, pastry products, cold cuts, cheese, cereal, milk and coffee), which was a really nice touch. The owners were very friendly and willing to help; as we had a late flight they let us leave the luggage in the B&B's hall and gave us the key to the building as they were not there in the afternoon.

I stayed at this B&B for 2 nights with one of my friends during our Europe trip. We were staying in the top floor one bedroom suite which had been renovated recently and had more than enough space for us and our luggage! The rooms and the bathroom were very clean. The beds and the towels were of very good quality. The buffet breakfast was sumptuous – freshly baked croissants, pain au chocolat, eggs, juice and the great cheese! The owners - Mario and Pietro were very friendly and helpful and especially Mario who helped us with directions to the place.
The Grote markt is at a 5 min walking distance from the place. There is a metro station at 5 minutes walking distance. Although, I would recommend taking a cab from the central station in case you have decent luggage. As others have mentioned, there is no elevator , so you might want to give preference for a ground floor room in case you are travelling with heavy luggage.

We spent 3 nights here this October (2012) and were very satisfied with pretty much everything. We had an apartment, and though the space itself was kind of odd and cool at the same time, it was ultra-modern and very well designed. It had all the amenities one expects of apartments, clean, comfortable, wifi and tv included (though the wifi was at times a bit slow). The breakfast was quite good, fresh coffee made on the spot, and the owners are very friendly and gentle. The location is also very central and you're right in the hub of everything. I'm glad we stayed here and would stay again if we ever come back into town.
