“Good place to spend an hour or two, interesting and diverse collections”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 27, 2013

There is quite a lot to see, so pick which period you are most interested in and head for that. Lovely space and when we were there, it was practically deserted.
Remember that lots of places are shut on Mondays.

“Check that off the bucket list”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 27, 2013

If anyone is a fan of the poetry of W.H. Auden or the work of the Old Masters this place is a must. The building is beautiful, the art amazing and the gift shop super fun. Be sure to exit out the back of the gift shop and cross the square to the Royal Park. The view is spectacular from the middle of the square and the palace, park and surrounding area are stunning. Highly recommended.

“Art and more”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 21, 2013

Well organised exhibition space, with lots of old masters mixed in with a sprinkiling of modern art. We liked the soft floor (prevented 'museum foot' nicely).

“Great gallery”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 18, 2013

Was very quiet when we visited - midweek in February.
Plenty of time to wander around and appreciate the artwork.
Bruegel, Rubens etc - just fantastic.
It's OK to take photos - without flash.
Cloakroom and lockers available.
Cafe is quite expensive - 5 euro for a bottle of water !
