Went Thursday afternoon after a walk around Brussels lovely.
Very good selection of beers and the nibbles complimented the beers perfectly.
It really is a lovely bar which highly recommend you try.

“Pretty bar for tourists”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 12, 2013 via mobile

Beautiful decor in this little bar, apparently unchanged since the 1920's. We went in on a Sunday afternoon and it was a little busy so service was a little slow but as you'd expect really. The prices are about €1-1.50 more expensive than most bars in Brussels for beers, and there wasn't a massive choice but decent enough. We went for the Morte Subite Faro and the Wit beer, both of which were absolutely delicious. The only really downside was our waitress who wasn't particularly friendly and actually sighed at me when I tried to pay our bill with coins. A little customer service would have been nice.

All in all a pretty tourist trap bar, nice enough to go for 1 drink but too expensive and not enough choice for the more serious Belgian beer enthusiast.

“Go - you won't be disappointed”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 12, 2013

This was our first stop in Brussels and it was right up our street! Lovely beers, a small but welcoming menu and the interior makes it a lovely place for a spot of lunch where you can sample beers and talk without it being so loud.

“Great STRONG beer”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 30, 2013

visited here on a weekend break.

Had a couple of very strong beers, which were both excellent. and also a plate of Belgium meat which went very well with the beers.

Highly recommended...
