“Fresh and clean”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 25, 2013

I traveled with a rather large group whilst on conference. I was pleasantly surprised by a clean and well kept hotel. It´s rather ideally situated I found sitting between the chic Chatelain area, European quarter and historic district. Great shopping areas are just around the corner.
Breakfast is really nice and fresh. Lots of fruit, veggies, quality juice as well as the bread and cheese you´d expect to find.
They offer a low bandwidth complimentary wifi connection which I was thankful for. If you want to make video calls or something heavier than getting mail and simple browsing a higher bandwidth costs.
The room was smallish but exactly what I would expect. All things worked as they should. I wasn´t particularly fond of the fruity fragrenced toiletries but I suppose it´s supposed to convey some idea of freshness. I slept lightly and found some of the street noise a bit disturbing but can´t say whether one side of the hotel is better than an other.
Some of the people in my group tried the gym and found it rather poorly equipped.
Check in and check out was rather effortless. As I didn´t have to pay myself I can´t really judge the value.

The hotel is situated near the city center, and near a public parking lodge,
and adjacent to a police station. The hotel is good, rather clean and comfortable, without
extrageous luxury. The breakfast is average, but good enough.
The room is good, simple furnishment, good shower, bath and toilet. Like 12 in a dozen !
I can recommand the hotel for business purposes and for a shopping weekend, but do not expect a comfortable lounge or bar or terrasses.

Room Tip: I stayed at the highest floor andt that was good.

We had to make a last minute booking for a large group of people due to a mistake by the bookings people. I had little expectation as to what it might be like although I've stayed in many other NH hotels.

I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the room, and the daily breakfasts available. It was of good quality and I'd say scored very similarly to other NH hotels. They are a really safe bet.

In terms of location it was slightly noisy but that might have to do with the direction my room was facing. Generally everyone in the group were very satisfied.

A bit expensive and rather small room but very clean, comfortable, modern and very central with a metro next door. So the problem? Well, the tram is also next door, actually passing right in front of the hotel. So if your room faces the street, beware of the fact that tram run till midnight and start around 5am. Short night. Slow internet and staff OK, not more. Breakfast is good.

Room Tip: Avoid room facing the street with the tram at "any" cost.

Went here on a business visit - apparently this was our second choice but it didn't feel like it. The hotel is very fresh and modern, and is brilliantly located for a walk into town. Staff were friendly and helpful despite us being fairly demanding (moving lunch service, making short notice changes...). Rooms were comfortable and clean with modern fixtures and a very good shower. Clearly geared at the business market as we were all in twin rooms, sure they have doubles available though! Food was fine - nothing top drawer but all well cooked and presented. The scrambled eggs at breakfast were nice and creamy - an improvement on many hotels. All in all a good experience!

Room Tip: Rooms that are higher up should have less traffic noise - Brussels seems to have a lot of very busy...

We stayed at this hotel for a weekend trip to Brussels I mistakenly thought that the City Centre would be where the tourist areas were, my mistake. The hotel was in the Business part of City where all the very upmarket shops (Rolex, Armarni etc) were, this ment we had to travel into the Grand Place by taxi or metro etc.
This hotel was really nice, very clean and friendly, room was small but nice, toiletries available etc, we chose breakfast included and this was good mix of hot/cold options cerial pastries etc.
It snowed while we were there but we were warm in our room, mini bar was a bit low on stock, and only thing missing really was Tea and Coffee making in room although free Tea and Coffee was available at reception.
Great place to stay but we chose the wrong location for us.

I was worried to stay at this hotel due to mixed reviews here, but then I decided to give it a try because of its excellent location. I had a very good experience. Everything was clean, new and comfortable. The location is excellent. The restaurant/bar and the servers there could be better but it is acceptable given the Belgian standards.
