Well, what can I say? The Grand Sablon is festooned with architectural treats that keep your eyes busy and nice features that keep your other senses occupied. It's one of the first places that I touched down in when I first lived in Brussels all those years ago. And I'll always remember the various cafes and shops in the area that is just a quick hop to either the Grande Place or the Marche aux Puces. Definitely give La Malcour a go for a quick repast and head over to either Pierre Marcolini for fantastic chocolate or some cake from Wittamer. You'll certainly be missing out on something special until you've spent some time on the Sablon.
