“impressive place”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 12, 2013

If you’re looking for an impressive place to lie under a tree the Cinquantenaire Park is especially lovely in the summer when it’s filled with locals making the most of the sunshine and the Royal Military Museum is a great place to visit.
You can also find the Royal Museums for Art and History (these hold artifacts gathered from around the world), and AutoWorld, a vintage car museum with over 350 classic cars, one of the largest collections in Europe.

Also in summer the area surrounding the arch is turned into a drive-in cinema. There’s discounted tickets for people driving vintage cars and a lawn reserved for people on bicycle or foot.

This place is must a visit.

“Great Collection”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 6, 2013

I was overwhelmed to see the collection at the museum. It had complete timeline of the wars and struggle that belgium had gone through in the past. Must see.

“Great museum in a great location”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 30, 2013

Located in one of the wings of the majestic Cinquantenaire, this - free entrance - museum is well worth a visit. There is so much to see that you can easily spend a few days over there. And then you suddenly arrive in an impressive hall made out of glass, with hundreds of airplanes. Of all makes, military, civilian (a Caravelle from Sabena)... all maintained by an army of volunteers, spending their free time putting those machines back in shape. You wonder how they ever got some of those planes in the centre of Brussels, and then in that hall.
Certainly worth a visit!

“Impressive airplanes collection”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 22, 2013

The big hall area with the military and domestic flights planes is really impressive and you get a chance to see really close the different models of war prototypes also. For history lovers the 1st world war has an impressive collection here.

Free museum with an excellent collection of artifacts. An amazing collection of intact uniforms spanning across the centuries and including other countries such as Germany. Excellent idea for families.
