If you are interested in art, historical artefacts or archaeology, this museum is a must-visit in Brussels. The museum is huge with what seems like endless rooms. I spent two hours there and by no means did I see everything. A map for the different sections is available or can be downloaded from the museum's website. There are not clear directions through the rooms of each section so be prepared to wander and discover as you go. Although there is little English signage, it doesn't matter as you just appreciate what you are seeing (all items do however have a place of origin and date details). An audioguide for some collections is available in English for 4 euros. There are toilets, a restaurant and a place to check your coats. Photos are allowed without flash. Entry is free with the Brussels Card.
