“The biggest and more serene park in town”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 28, 2013

A visit not to miss. For locals, it is the most common one day trip during the weekend where you have the feeling that you are in the countryside whilst you remain in the centre of the town, just a few minutes walk from Avenue Louise.

“A country walk in the city”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 10, 2013

Got there by Metro to Montgomery and then change to Tram 7, still underground at first, to stop Legrand, then right as you step off the tram to the junction and right again and you have the Bois de la Cambre in front of you. Very easy walk in autumn colours. Plenty of benches so would be good for a picnic. Could pick up a Villo at the entrance and cycle maybe.

“A forest in Europe's capital”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 2, 2013

I wouldn't have expected a city like Brussels to have a forest (real forest) in it. There are some areas that look like a man-made park, but most of it it's your typical European forest. Lovely in Autumn

“A walk in the woods”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 2, 2013

Grass, lake, jogging paths, ferry to the island restaurant. This is a magical green oasis and lung within easy walking distance of the Bascule district. The pistachio ice cream cone from the van was fantastic.
