“Each room a destination”

We were in Brussels for only one night and had a wonderful stay at the Welcome Hotel. Bring a good map to drive into the city. We found the place, via detours, and after parking in the sister hotel's garage explored the city center only a few minutes away on foot. Metro station just outside front door and many restaurants close. The hotel staff was helpful and the breakfast hearty. The rooms are fantasy and well constructed once you look at the materials. We had the choice of the Egyptian suite or Moroco chamber...opting for the Moroco. Beware - No snacking in the rooms = $$ fee.

We like Brussels, and this was our second visit to the Welcome. We stayed in 'Cuba' , and found the hotel, as always, clean, very well-located and staffed by extremely friendly people. The only negative for us was that there are no in-room safes, which meant that every time we went out we had to deposit our iPad, Kindle, passports, etc. with the front desk, and then pick them up again whenever we wanted to relax in the room. That said, we like the Welcome and LOVE the fact that it is so close to a metro stop, but still in a quiet neighborhood. We will stay here again!

Chloe and Maria provided us with a great welcome to Brussels for our 2 night stay. They provided everything we would want to know about getting around and helping us with items for our room. After 2 weeks travelling around Europe it was a great end to the trip with a unique room (Saigon). The red walls and decorations were very warm. We did find the comforter a bit heavy to sleep on, but they provided an extra large sheet to use (unlike our previous hotel) and the mattress was very comfortable. After a scare in the morning of not finding my passport, the owner came to the desk early at 5am to help us find it, even though it turned out we had packed it in the luggage. Great location, good breakfast, reasonably priced. Thanks for a great time in Brussels!

We stayed here for 1 night. It was ok.. We stayed at the Istanbul room, a small 150 sq ft room, a bit too kitsch for my taste. I am an architect and if i were to re-decorate the room, i would reduce the decorative elements by half and it would still reflect turkish character for the size that the room is.
The location is great and very close to St. Catherine metro station and within walking distance to some great squares. The receptionist and the owner were helpful and gave us a map and suggestions to navigate around the neighborhood.
The breakfast spread was quite elaborate and though we had to rush through it, since we were headed to the airport, i must say that the food was quite good and fresh.
Only i did not feel that the whole thing was value for the money i paid.

We arrived in Brussels in the early am-naturally we could not check in but the staff at Welcome stored our bags, answered our questions and off we went to the Magritte museum. We were delighted on our return to find we were upgraded to the Silk Road room with one of the most fantastic spa bathrooms I've ever had the pleasure to use. Great shower, whirlpool tub and the king size bed was great. The breakfast in the morning had plenty of choices -- great croissants and super coffee, as well as eggs, fruit, cheeses and meats. A great pleasure to stay -- not a cookie-cutter hotel experience by any means but quality all the way. Only downside -- street noise was a little too loud in the wee hours (we kept the windows cracked open because the night air was refreshing.) Thank you to the Welcome Hoel for a great stay!!!

Room Tip: Silk Road all the way!!!!

We really enjoyed our stay at Welcome Hotel the first week of September. The owner has decorated each room in the motif of a country he has visited in the past which makes it a very unique and fun place to stay. The rooms are large with the usual amenities that U.S. travelers expect, decor details and pieces that are very interesting and spacious modern bathrooms. It is located in a great neighborhood with easy access to the subway and great restaurants and walking distance from many of the tourist sites of Brussels. The staff are very friendly and helpful and made excellent recommendations for local restaurants. The buffet breakfast included in the room price had a good selection of both hot and cold choices and internet access via wifi or a communal computer was free. I highly recommend this establishment which though not inexpensive is worth the expense.

My wife and I have stayed at the Hotel Welcome three times, and will do so again when we return to Brussels.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are pleasant and unique and are decorated in various motifs such as Egypt and India. The rooms are well fitted and very comfortable.

The location is perfect. There is a subway station just across the street that you can use to go anywhere in Brussels. You are within easy walking distance from market square and a pleasant walk to the train station.

Even more important are the excellent restaurants within a few blocks of the hotel.

On our last trip, we were delayed leaving the US by hurricane Isaac and arrived late at the hotel. As a nice gesture, they upgraded our room to a full suite!

We have traveled all over Europe, and there is not a finer place to stay than the Hotel Welcome.

Room Tip: All rooms are nice. The more you pay, the more room you get, but they are all nice.
