“Basic, cheap, great location!”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 12, 2013

This is a basic, cheap and central hotel. You get what you pay for :) Rooms are ok and clean. The breakfast is ok and served in a tiny room, service is friendly and good. The location is great! Lots of restaurants and bars right outside, many attractions within walking distance.

It suits very well the needs of those who like me attend seminars in Brussels. Keeping in mind you are not staying in the hotel for long time, this is ideal. Extremely central. Although small, it is clean. Breakfast was basic but all was fresh. Wifi service is very good. No aircondition. Not expensive.

It was a last minute booking and the hotel served its purpose. Brussels, a very small city, any hotel in the city center would have sufficed. Hotel was small, room was small, private bath was small. Typical of a European hotel but I've had stayed at better rooms. Room and bath were clean though but 2 guests and a 2 pieces of luggage (just carry on, no big check-in luggage) were a challenge. After all the Belgian beers, bucket of mussels, and tons of Belgian chocolate, all we needed were our beds to crash.

This basic hotel is located centrally, just 10 mins. from the central station and 5 mins. from Grand Place. It's clean but small, and decor is quite the same cheesy pastel colours you see most places of this standard. The breakfast room is extremely small, so make sure to be either really early or really late to get a seat or else, prepare to queue. Location is quite noisy as it's close to the restaurant area where you find the stag-night fave Delirium Tremens café.

Room Tip: Bring earplugs if you're a light sleeper, even rooms towards the back are noisy with the fans fr...

The location is great, a short walk from the Grand Place, and three steps from the central station. The entrance is not very fine, but the room is quite nice and clean. Beware of the noise, it is absolutely necessary to get a room towards the inside court (there are many) where, however, there are noisy fans, but closing the windows you sleep well (not on summer!). On the street, however, the noise is still night. Good breakfast. Recommended for the position and for the convenience.

Room Tip: Attention to the noise from the street. Absolutely internal rooms.

clean hotel central for grand place 5 mins walk away
walk out the door and there are several good restaurants on the same street
metro also 5 mins away
breakfast room could benefit from the addition of a toaster
apart from that just fine

Room Tip: street can be noisey in morning sleep with windows closed

Stayed here for two nights with a group of friends. Hotel is basic, but our room with 2 singles was an average size with a clean bathroom. It was cleaned each day too.
Breakfast is ok, bread, cheese, salami and coffee. Not great but filled a gap and considering the price of food in Brussels (compared to the UK) it was good to fill up before attacking the day.
Agree with the other comments here, there was always someone on the front door, and the staff were always friendly and helpful. Good solid cheap hotel in central location. Paul
