“Wonderful hotel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 20, 2013

I stayed for two nights in this very nice and warm decorated hotel.
The atmosphere is really fantastic, nice modern and clean rooms.
The location is perfect, very close to the Belgium Champs Elysees, the Av. Louise and the Porte de Namur.
The only thing you have to be aware of, this hotel is not recommended for people who have to use a wheelchair. The breakfast room is only accessible via a stair case and the elevator is just big enough for three persons..
For the rest a great hotel, I look forward to my next stay in this hotel.

Nice modern hotel.. The breakfast is very good.. It is in a good location but you do have to walk up and down a hill to get to the main centre of Brussels which is something to consider.. There is a nice bar called the loft opposite which does lovely cocktails.. The only bad thing is we had 3 people stay in a room and one of my sisters had to sleep on a fold out bed which she didn't find comfortable at all!

I visited Brussels last week for a pre christmas shopping trip with my wife as a friend told us there were lots of great shops & it was quieter than Paris... She wasn't wrong.

The hotel was perfectly located between the parks & royal palace and all of the super shops on offer. All of the big fashion houses were there and with Christmas already in the air it was great.

The hotel itself was lovely, staff were extremely friendly and very helpful with lots of tips on where to go & what to do. The room was quite nice, if a little small & we only ate breakfast in the hotel, but again this was very good with more than enough on offer to satisfy two very fussy eaters with particular dietary needs!

In short, I would certainly visit brussels again & if I do, I will be staying at the Chambord.

Room Tip: We were at the front on the 4th floor... seemed quiet enough... ask for a big room though!

Nice hotel in a very good location. The room was spacious and the beds were comfortable. Breakfast included, with a good selection and vegetarian options. Helpful staff. The only thing was that the heater was on and the weather was not cold at all, so for two nights we had to sleep with the window open as the room got really hot (not that it was a big problem).

The rooms are a bit old, but rather cozy. The furniture is nice and modern though. My room had flat TV and a bunch of channels, including english speaking ones. Staff is extremely nice and friendly. The breakfast is included and is quite good. WIFI is free in the entire hotel - you just need to ask for a code at the reception.

Room Tip: Higher floors are more quiet

Great location, but absolutely terrible room in this hotel. Tiny room and nowhere to work. Sitting on the bed with a laptop to work. Hotel staff say there are no more rooms so I am checking out tomorrow to look for somewhere else.

Room Tip: Choose another hotel

This is very well placed hotel just meters away from the metro that is well worth the price, if the weather isn't to hot because there are no air conditioners in the rooms, just in the lobby, so the rooms gets really hot, especially room number 04, where I stayed, that has the air conditioner condensers just outside the window producing even more heat so you absolutely can't open the window.

Room Tip: Avoid room number 04 when the weather is hot.
