We stayed at this hotel in June 2014.
Thon hotels are normally quite good, and have a really good standard, so it was familiar set-up, even having stayed at other hotels of the group elsewhere.
Getting there by taxi from the airport was easy, about 20 minutes out of peak, and cost EUR60.00- reasonable for the drive.
Staff at reception were friendly and helpful, and when asking for directions, they were very good in assisting me to find my bearings.
The location is a bit boring, but it is located in the heart of the city, so expect to travel around to see anything. That being said, to get to the square in the centre of Brussels was EUR30-ish, so quite close- you could walk, but we were limited for time so opted for a taxi instead. (My guestimates put walking to and from the square at about 30 to 45 minutes at a fair pace.)
Our room was neat and clean and there was nothing that we missed or needed.
There is a small shop in the building, so you can buy snacks or paninis- but it closes at 19H00, so get there before then.
The bar was pleasant was well, and the happy-hour was enjoyable. Note that when you purchase, it’s a buy-one-get-one-free, but the drinks have to be in the same price range- so you have to order 2 drinks from the EUR10.00 listing for the special to apply.
Dinner was pleasant and the breakfast was quite nice as well, with a wide variety to chose from.
A nice stay, overall.
