We booked a room here as part of a package deal--the room ended up being only 34USD/night. But we also stayed in late January, so that probably had a lot to do with the favorable rate.
The hotel is located on a quiet side street off the busy Blvd. de Berlaimont very near Cathedrale St-Michel and, importantly, near Gare Central (Central train station). Use the Cathedrale as your reference point and you'll be just fine finding your way back.
The building is nothing notable and you can easily miss the entrance if not paying attention. The lobby is small--so are the lifts--and there is a small restaurant attached (never saw anyone eating there). The staff was neither rude nor friendly, but did speak English well (as does nearly everyone we met in Belgium). The room was adequately sized and had a very warm interior styled with a lot of natural wood. TV was mostly French or Dutch with CNN and BBC in English--but since 95% of our time in the room was spent sleeping, this was not a big deal.
Our bed was huge (king size) which took up most of the space in the room. I have heard some complain that the shower doesn't have a curtain or door. If the hotel doesn't care, neither do I. The room was clean and everything was in proper working order. What more can you ask for?
One advantage of the location is its quiet isolation. There is no major traffic noise or late night revelers wandering this part of the city. It is barely 1/4-mile (400m) to Grand Place, 0.4 mile (600m) to Mont des Arts, and about 1/2 mile (700m) to the Ste-Catherine area (for good dining). The location can be a disadvantage as well since it is a bit of a walk to find decent food (do not eat near Grand Place). Not as bad in summer, I'm sure, but it was around 20F (-6C) when we were there.
Overall, I would recommend this hotel as a good place to sleep, shower, and store your daily purchases (chocolate!!) while you continue to visit the sights.
