As our plan for a Greek restaurant fell apart, we were wondering around Midi train station area for a good ethnic restaurant. Being not very visible from the street side, we entered in this Portuguese restaurant, where warmly welcome by the owner and sat at the last available table. The ambience was warm, with mainly Portuguese guests. We decided to order to start a Viño Verde, good slightly fizzy white portuguese wine, ideal for aperitif. For main courses, we asked for the chef's recommendations which was the plat du jour baked fish portguese style with olives, potatoes and peppers, my friends took the famous fejoada as well as grilled daurade and one steamed bacalhau. Every single dishes where amazing and 100% authentic. Price for 7 persons including 2 bottles of wine, water was 128€ all inclusive. top of the top.
