2nd time i have stayed at the Agenda and would stay there again. they've been refurbishing the bathrooms since I was last there and i was very impressed.

Obviously, not a 5* experience, but a good hotel in a central location for well under 100 EUR
a night is a real gem in Brussels!

Not the prettiest of premises, tired-looking rooms, but good space - I got a massive double room
on the top floor, with rooms going out to the back of the building. Clean, quiet, spacious,
what else can you ask for in a budget hotel? Yes, good customer service, and this
was provided too!

Decent breakfast, but the breakfast room is really tiny and gets crowded at times.

If you're on a limited budget, and need to stay close to Louise/central Brussels, then
Agenda is a good choice!

3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 21, 2013

I stayed for three nights in this central Hotel, walking distance (10 min) from the Louise shopping area and in a quiet side street. We booked a junior suite, as we needed to have an extra bed after the first night. On arrival, we were placed on the top floor, and were told that not all junior suites (in spite of the large surface and two coaches in the room) could take an extra bed. To get to the top floor you have to take the lift and then a last, narrow flight of stairs that is not really helpful when you have suitcases. Room was big, but somehow basic (especially the bathroom). The heating did not come on and spent a chilly night. Breakfast is in a small room on the ground floor and was ok, limited choice and quality not always the best. First night I used the parking (17 euros/day) that was tiny (5 places) and really difficult to get to with a medium sized car. All in all, good location, ok infrastructure and service, not so good value for money (240 euros/night)

Room Tip: avoid top floor

Apartment in Berckmansstraat 31 nice and quiet. Well equipped kitchen, dining room, living room, bed room and bathroom with tub. TV did not work, too weak signal, although there was a satelite receiver, dvd, play station and stereo. Free wifi which became weak when everybody was on, otherwise fine. Nice neighbourhood with several good restaurants. Close to a tram line, but metro quite a walk away.

3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 25, 2013

I stayed for two nights in the Residence.
The apartment was big, but absolutely not worth the price.
The first night was EUR 145, but the 2nd night EUR 345,00, because Brussels was full.
The EUR 345 is much too expensive for this reasonable apartment.
The kitchen wasn't clean, the microwave oven still had food from the previous guests in it, the smell in the apartment was not attractive at all, mold on the ceiling in the bathroom, poor working internet connection and some other things.
I made the complaint about this. They cleaned the kitchen but still the apartment wasn't worth the eur 345 for one night.
For the rest, the receptionist was not open for or willing to understand this. This was Brussels during busy times was his reaction.
They will not see me anymore in the Residence Agenda.

Location was ok, about 30 mins walk to the centre or you could take a tram part way there.
Staff were friendly and reception helpful.
Breakfast was ok. Nothing special but adequate.
Room was fairly big.
Building work happening in the hotel but this was only noticeable at breakfast.
