“great atmosphere when big events are on...”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 17, 2012

in the morning, was very quiet and good for taking photos of the beautiful old buildings.
went back in the afternoon of a football (soccer) match between Belgium and Scotland, and it was a sea of kilts! An amazing atmosphere!

“Essential in Belgium”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 16, 2012

It might be surprising, but one can get decent food at the restaurants here, without being ripped on prices.

“The Square ... Charming”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 16, 2012

Whatever words I would use to describe this amazing place, it's very hard to express the actual feelings of being their.
the place is spectacular, with many things to do and many shops to visit.
although the time of our visit did not allow us to see the flowers carpet, we had really wonderful time visiting the place and the surrounding area.
a must visit place, no droughts

You like to take photos? You like grand squares? This is your first stop. Use panorama mode on the iphone and be amazed. You can quickly soak in the beauty and then off the the amazing shops that surround the area.

“Beautiful, even in the rain”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 15, 2012

Tons of people out, a great atmosphere, even though it was All Saints Day and most of the city was closed. Had a beer and a sandwich at one of the restaurants lining the square--as long as you keep it simple, they're not bad.
