On a recent business trip to Brussels, I suggested Le Fin de Siecle to my husband and 21 yr old son. There was a long line out the door so my son went in to ask about the wait. It was roughly 30 minutes, and as my son was very hungry, we were pleasantly surprised when he told us to wait. He had seen someone's dinner being served and decided it looked delicious. There were many locals dining which also added to the atmosphere. We all had a beer while on line. My husband and son had the special for dinner, which was a large smoked ham shank covered with grainy mustard. It was absolutely yummy. I had Flemish stew simmered in beer for 6 hours. Delicious! The staff, though crazy busy, were very friendly and attentive. The only negative to Le Fin is that it is cash only.
