This is my third stay at Adagio Brussels and I would come back. Besides a modern kitchen that includes small fridge, dishwasher, micro, and two burner stovetop, the furniture is made to move around to suit my needs, or to tuck away. I prefer the arcade view which has a more modern art with subtle lighting view, but there is a city street view as well. Better still, the location. Couldn't be closer to the metro and a short walk to Central Station. For dinner I prefer to head the other direction to St Catherine Metro stop area. My favorite Thai restaurant in the world is there. The grocery is just two blocks away on the same street, and beyond that an Asian grocery and one of my favorite tea and coffee shops. Excellent service as well. The only drawback is 5 euros per wash.

We looked for a loooooong time to find a place that had three separate beds for the three of us sisters, but still plenty of room to move around. This aparthotel filled the bill in spades. There were two beds, separated by a nightstand, with pocket doors that closed off the living area, effectively creating two rooms. The living area had a sofa bed with a trundle under it that popped up to bed height. IMO all the beds were very comfortable, although one sister found the regular bed too hard. The kitchenette was just the right size for saving leftovers in the fridge and reheating them in the microwave. The W.C. was by itself, and the bathroom had a deep tub and lovely hot shower. There was also a rack for heating towels, which we didn't need. No coffee was provided, and coffee from the restaurant on the 2nd floor was 2 euro! We did have breakfast there one morning, and it was fine, if expensive. There is a bakery just next door, though.
We were in a room facing the busy Boulevard Anspach, so it was pretty noisy when the windows were open. It was too cool for the air conditioning to work, so the windows stayed open a lot. I guess we got used to it, though, because I don't remember anyone complaining that the street noise kept them awake.
You don't get maid service unless you stay at least 4 days. We did get it, however, by accident, and we came back one evening to an intense, gag-producing odor. The head housekeeper checked it out, gave a couple of air freshener sprays, and said it was the smell from a sour mop cleaning the floors. Took a while to die down, and we felt like more could have been done (like maybe leaving the spray with us).
We really enjoyed the extra space we got at the Adagio to spread out. The hotel is in a great location, close to the metro, the Grand Place, small markets (wonderful to browse in to see what the Belgians eat), and lots of restaurants. A great find for our trip!

Room Tip: Be sure you are aware that there are two types of rooms: studios and the rooms for 4.

Adagio Brussels Centre Monnaie was a good home base for me in Brussels. Its was in the centre but outside from the huge crowds in the Grand Place. Its takes around 5 minute walk the the tourist area. I love the apartments bec it was really huge compare to the other Adagio. Check in was not until 3pm. We could not get a room earlier so we just went to the tourist spots. The location was perfect. Right outside the metro and inside a mall. lots of resto's and supermarket within 2 minute walk. Perfect location. The toilet has a separate room from the shower and was so helpful since we are a family of 4. We noticed that the sink in the shower room was so slow to suck the water. Ok, we just let it passed since the are 3 sinks in this apartment( the shower area, the toilet and the kitchen). We can use the sink in the kitchen to brush our teeth. Everything was perfect until the last night where water was dripping from the airconditioning unit. It started dripping around 2 in the morning and we had a train to catch at 6. We didint get enough sleep since it was almost flooding the area and we had to get towels so that the water wont spread that much. wired internet was free in the room but wi fi is only in the 2ndfloor lobby. After everything, i would still go back to this hotel!

We stayed here while vacationing in Brussels August 2011. The apartment is just the right amount of space when you're away from home for a week! Good kitchen with large fridge, nice bathroom and shower and separate bedroom. The only thing that wasn't perfect was the bed as it was two twin beds pushed together to make a king sized bed - however, there was nothing attaching the beds, so you had to be careful not to fall through the center! The location is perfect - close to the trains and just a few blocks from the square. Watch out for the tourist trap restaurants around the grand place.

Our first stay in an Adagio and we were very impressed. All the comforts of a good quality hotel room with the added benefit of a more than adequate kitchen space. This is ideal for anyone wanting to be close to the centre of town with all major attractions within walking distance. An excellent fully stocked supermarket is close by and an abundance of restaurants, cafes etc. There is parking a short walk away and our friends were able to take their dog into their apartment.
The room/apartment was very spacious and well equipped with everything you might need for a short/ medium stay. We will certainly be looking out for other Adagios.

Room Tip: It's quieter if you don't face Anspach Laan
