This hotel has a lovely atmosphere. The foyer is modern and unique in design. The check in is efficient and when the hotel restaurant was closed on Sunday evening, they suggested the nearby "Brussels Grill" which was a good suggestion for a quick, early meal after a morning's travels. We would have liked to explore the nearby shopping centre but did not have time. It is close to 2 major chain hotels if you need to meet friends who are also on tour. The classic French design of our room facing the street was comfortable and the marble bathroom is large with a separate toilet. Very relaxing and good to be able to open the windows for fresh air, and air con. is helpful as it was very warm.
The best part of the experience are the croissants in the breakfast room. They are delicious. Also the man who served the coffee remembered our choice the next morning so that is rare in a larger hotel. Would stay here again on our way to Bruges. The Ghent-Bruges tour met us at the hotel and the reception confirmed our pick up time so they were helpful.
