“Better for winter than summer”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 24, 2012

This is a good solution for winter as the internal space is super big but the outside pool is so small that can barely take 20 people without seeming like a big jacuzzi.

“Could you rule the teenagers ?”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed August 17, 2012

terribly noisy, lots of ado without any respect to children or others, sometimes violent or taking risks with someone else integrity. The staff should be better trained to rule them, to send away those without respect

Apparently you came in the peak week of the year and maybe the peak week for many years.
We welcome many families with children from 6 to 14. They like the water park. we try to calm down, but there is so much fun. Océade is N°1 in Belgium by our equipment.

For a quiet park, it is better to come early in the morning, outside the peak days, during the week...
The sauna area is reserved for adulte to give at any time a peaceful place.

“Great, fun place with lots of flumes, rapids and slides.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 16, 2012

Went here with our 5 yr old daughter and she had an absolute whale of a time (as did we). We went on a weekday in the summer and got there nice and early (it opens at 9.30) which I would recommend as when we were leaving (about 1.30) it was starting to get pretty busy.
It is a little pricey but to be honest we had 4 fun filled hours (the ticket gives you 4 hours) as there was lots of variety.
Play area for little kids which has slides, see-saws. climbing frames etc all in the water, then 4 really great big flumes. For a lot of the flumes, the child needs to be over 1m30. Barracuda is pretty fast and you use a one person or two person rubber ring. Anaconda you can do on 1, 2 or 3 person ring and this is not too fast or twisty. The Chameleon is quite cool as you can choose the colour of lights as you go down and the hurricane according to my husband is the scariest thing ever so only for the brave!
There are also a few water slides outside and a great little rapids area. Every 20 mins or so a 'storm' comes and there are HUGE waves which was also a real laugh.
For those who love water parks, get there early and enjoy (and remember to take towels are you cannot hire them!).

But, like mini europe, they take your photo with the mascot on arrival and then try and sell the shots to you at the end - a cheap shot to get you to mart with extra cash.

Thank you for your appreciation and your enthousiastic description.
About the mascot, we try to do it in a pleasant way. Nobody is obliged to buy the picture.
Anyway you can imagine that many visitors are happy to bring a souvenir of their day.

This revenue makes us able to invest. (4 new slides in 3 years)
Océade is N°1 in water equipment and among the very few water parks runnning without public subvention.

“Great fun!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 1, 2012

We were there with the kids (all under 4) and it was great. They enjoyed themselves quite well and are still speaking about it and asking to go back.
As for the adults, enough choice! Relax in the jacuzzi or sauna or get some action in one of the many slides.

“Fantastic Place with lovely photo memento”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 28, 2012

Taking the Heysel Metro Oceade located located within the BruPark. Its up a good flight of steps and we couldnt see any wheelchair/buggy friendly access.

For two adults, one eleven year old and two under fives, combining the entrance fee with Mini-Europe total €70.70 cent which we were delighted with after the day. They take your buggys before entrance so very handy.

After entrance ticket scanned, photographer takes a photo with cartoon type character. Available for only €6 so great. Entrance ticket also allows use of the locker so very handy to mind it as you need the ticket to scan to get out.

Oceade has plenty to do, wave pool is fantastic.

We didnt eat here but had lunch is one of the restaurant in The Village of BruPark for steak, chips and salad €9.50 so great value.
