Been since many years. Gone from nice evening out/good food, to one bad surprise after another. Reserved outside (normally they will not!) & seated next to door / waiters' station. Phony bubbly water, just like I'd read: in a carafe / not cold / no carbonisation / VERY pricey for tap water injected by restaurant with a few lone fizzles. Order PRICEY prime rib, medium rare. It arrived neither rare nor medium (nor in between). Just hard & burnt on outside. Their meat used to be succulent & you could cut it with a spoon...that's just fond memories now! Fries were obviously frozen, not hand-made in this nation where fries (chips / frites) are THE world's trademark... Sauces very pricey, but ok. After the meal, 2 teas, extremely pricey (you could buy 2 tins in shop but that's common here) for 1 cup... And just plunked down on a tray on table's edge. No bother to even set milk/sugar OR teas by US, the buyers. Asked for 'doggy bag', it came in a PAPER bag like for a bread slice. NONE of their pricey sauce - most restaurants will bend over backwards on this. NO fries!! Not one lettuce leaf. They do NOT, will NOT bring bottled water & open in front of patron. They were laughing their heads off about this when we called them on it. I'm just happy about one thing only ... I was not paying but was invited. Bad news, l'Amusoir. Don't bother. Some say service is "prompt" - it's so rushed and they're so nervous is all. Last visit (few months ago) we waited probably one solid hour for our order to be taken ! I'm an extremely easy diner and never complain but this was a definite "never again" choice.
