“nice panorama”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 31, 2012

Be prepared to climb more than 200 stairs. But when you do- you can see all the surroundings from above. And sit near the huge stone lion.

“Informational experience”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 23, 2012

The mound is 223 steps but it really gives you a sense of the battle with the great view of the countryside. They offer several options to learn about the battle via movies, pamarama building, climbing the mound and the wax museum.

“Interesting visit - but pricey”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 19, 2012

it was worth climbing all the steps to the top of the Lion Mound, but here could have been a more informative plan of the battlefield at the top. The Panorama was well-done, and had recently been upgraded. The new museum will certainly justify a further visit.

“Good historical overview of battle”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 5, 2012

The film is super depicting troop movements. The tram ride provides a good feel for the size of the battle ground. Get a firm understanding of how the battle was fought and why.
