“Bad, unflexible service”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed May 22, 2013 via mobile

it was my second time there, food was quite ok, this time not so tasty, but very good last time (in march 2013), but service was the worst ever, i never have seen more unflexibility. We were 15 persons and were only allowed to take 3 different dishes, not a 4th one and what could not be agreed before, however we have choosen just the restaurant as they promised we can take anything from the menue. The whole evening was destroyed for the group, so if you are happy with any choice the restaurants takes for you, you will be fine, if people in a group would like to order different things don't go there.

“Top-notch Brasserie”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 20, 2013

Recently renewed, this real brasserie (the brewery is on the same premises) has an excellent kitchen. More importantly it offers a great choice of beers with each meal.

“Great food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 9, 2013

Good local dishes that go very well with the local beer. It is a brewery, hotel and restaurant and is friendly and busy.

“Hearty food and the best of Belgian beer”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 1, 2013

We ate here while staying at the brewery hotel (The Carolus). Well worth a visit in its own right, quality food in an informal setting, and all the different styles of the Golden Carolus beer to sample. They also do a standard Pils-type beer called Anker, but for some reason it's not marketed in the UK...
