“Terrible”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed January 19, 2014

At the lunch time it was the unusual ordering procedure manner: you may order only one time as much as you want, but you'll be fined for the wasted leavings (no possibility to take away).
Time passes, but nothing changes.
Service is fast, but food quality is the worst. The waiter forgot to bring ginger. The fish was not so fresh and the rice was cooked like a porridge. Either the sort of rice isn't suitable or the cook violates the process (overboil, no vinegar etc.) Probably the target of the restaurant to fine the client for any leftovers as much as possible.
The rice in Japanese kitchen to be airy. But in Kaiseki it was like a raw dough.

“nice idea but average sushi”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 21, 2013

I love sushi, and am always looking for new places to eat. While we were visiting in Antwerp we tried kaiseki and while it was a pleasant experience the sushi wasn't all that great.

“Worst sushi & Service”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed October 5, 2013

Never been to a restaurant before where the service is this bad. They just ignored us and didnt even see bye. Sushi is gross too, the rice is tasteless and warm.. the sushi falls apart & fish had no flavour too. They even messed up the grilled duck and mushrooms. But especially the service is horrible

“Not the best, but still acceptable for all-you-can-eat set”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 8, 2013

As my friend keeps telling me this is the best place you can find cheap but good sushi (comparing to other Japanese resto in neighborhood) in Antwerp, I came here for the first time and tried the "all you can eat" lunch set for 17.50euro. Its written quite clear on the menu that you are allowed to eat anything you want within 2.5 hrs (except some side orders like sashimi tuna and salmon you have to pay more). The quality of the maki nigri sushi was not so special but the seaweed (gemarineerde zeewier), temaki handroll and tobiko (viskuit) were delicious. Be awared of miso soup, I was disappointed from how it looked to how the taste was. It was like they soaked some dried seaweed and tofu into the hot water and that's all. The waiters are quite and not so friendly but they served and cleared the table pretty quick. I probably will come back sometimes since I dont expect too much for a cheap price.
