My wife and I arrived there and were taken care of immediately by the owner. The location has 3 rooms on separate floors. Our room was outstanding (first floor) and it was more than spacious. Very large full bathroom. Lighting in the room isn't the best but for setting the mood, it was perfect. The stairways to the upper floors are narrow. The 3rd floor room is air conditioned but the other rooms aren't. Our breakfasts were different each morning and were very tasty. It was a healthy selection of cheeses, rolls of many types, egg, other proteins and yogurt. You arrange with the owner when you'd like to have breakfast The owner recommended some places to eat and we were not disappointed. The B&B is located less than a block or so from the National Museum (which currently has a number of the Rijksmuseum's best works while they are completing renovations there. ) Taking the #4 trolley takes you within five minutes to the Cathedral area and the restaurant center. A number of very good restaurants there. Our fine dinner at the Rooden Hoed restaurant is worthy of mention. We enjoyed Antwerp more than we expected, in no small part because of the Charles Rogier XI.
