best range i've ever seen, and all on its own terms.
i had 2 beers, and some aged cheese, and rate it as the best beer experience I've had.
and aged raspberry lambic (27 years old) was amazing, and very good value at 6 euro for a big bottle. quite how such a normally sweet (and in my view boring) beer could end up with such a complex flavour and aroma is beyong me, but is was very good. I guess this is what this place is about. the other beer I had was a carolus oude gouden (25 years) at 8 euro - again good value and even better. the cheese was a perfect match as well.
the whole place is very eccentric, and other reviews are correct in that there are cats wandering about, classical music, and a very relaxed attitude to service. basically its run by a couple who seem to regard this is a hobby rather than a money making business, and its a labout of love. if it feels like your going into someones house (and being honest it does feel like that) its because you are. show respect and friendliness and you'll get the same back.
