Knew very little about Rubens - even though I use Rubenesque to describe my curves! - but found out lots on the very informative audio tour which guides you effortlessly around his house. Lots has changed since he lived there, and this is pointed out, they are not trying to pretend that all is original. But you get plenty of information about his life and times, his art and his patrons. If you want lots more detail on certain items, you can get that too. Delightful garden at the back - a good place to sit and contemplate.
