I MUST compliment you for choosing the Rubens Hotel for our family trip trough Europe. Everyone was most content about the beautiful gardenview rooms, and unbelievably, the garden in the very city centre of Antwerp, where gran took a daily nap on her very own private terrace ! I was most impressed by the friendly staff, who are multilingual to a degree i did not encounter before ! The breakfast buffet was nice, and provided every possible foodstaple apart from baked kidneys, which i loathe by the way. I personally especially liked the effort put in to providing a good choice of light products, apart from all the classic breakfast dishes, since it can be hard to continue a diet while travelling.
Finally, the location is unbeattable, a few steps away from a wide variety of musea, and loads and loads of antiques shops !
We'll be back !!!

Excellent location, adequate breakfast, helpful staff. Decor adequate, ambiance similar to US chain hotel - and not a higher end one at that.

so poor at this hotel, service from the owner was quite poor. rooms falling apart and prices over the top. dont go

I stayed at Rubens Hotel, for a bussiness trip on Antwep and I must tell that I find out that there is a wondenful atmosphere and a great energy from the Hotel and from the people that works there. Going to Antwerp I won't stay in another place.
