“A little trip to China”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 15, 2012

This is where the locals from The Hague Chinatown go. Swift service, simple setting, real food.

“MICE running around on a Saturday night”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed June 3, 2012

We sat down, looked at the menus, and noticed mice running around in the foyer drinks area. If you don't mind mice running around, and potentially mice hairs and droppings in your food, then you might not mind eating here. Sure it was busy, but I felt very sorry for the people I walked past as I left the restaurant, deciding that I would not be paying to eat here, who may not have been aware of the mice. I don't think it is acceptable to have mice on the restaurant floor on a busy Saturday night. If the level of hygiene was high enough I don't believe there would be mice, and the thought that there may be mice droppings all around the kitchen put me off eating here. The food looks good, and the restaurant was busy, but really.... not for me.

“one of, if not the best chinese restaurant in chinatown den haag”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 1, 2012

like I said. one of, if not the best chinese in the heart of chinatown den haag, full stop. my family has been going to this place for about forty years. the service is (at first glance) terrible, the restaurant's virtually always full, no matter what time of day. there are usually loads of people standing around at the centre of the restaurant of which you never quite know whether they're waiting for a table or for their takeaway-order. it's not cosy, comfy or even welcoming. once you stand there for a while you begin to understand how the restaurant-staff at all copes with the business - the waiter & waitresses always know what's going on, service is very fast and everything is always available. the food is simply excellent (ask for recommendations if you're not sure). their 'chicken with salt&pepper' is probably the most famous dish, though I prefer their various oyster-sauce dishes (their sweet&sour pork too is fantastic and their crab&sweetcorn soup is a childhood memory). if you're in den haag and fancy chinese, you need to come here.

“Best chinees kept secret in Holland”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 11, 2012

In China town the Hague, the is an extremely busy restaurant with the best chinese food in the area. It is not fancy but it most certainly is scrumptious. If you don't know what to order they will give you good advise but everything I have had is delicious. The portion are large enough to warrent a 'doggy bag'.
I would recommend the "Birds nest with shrimp or chicken" with fried rice.
