“Everybody deserves to be spoiled sometimes...”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 8, 2012

That's exactly what we were thinking before we left the Netherlands. And The Haagsche Suites let us indulge in our last moments.

The Setting: We stayed in Suite 2, blue engraved ceiling, elegant sitting room, fine details in the furnishing, 2 fireplaces, huge bath tub, modern little kitchen, lovely table beside the floor to ceiling window, exquisite textiles, elegant china cabinet, and a bed you cab melt into. The location was just right, tram station was a minute's walk away, and the hosts are more than willing to arrange transport too.
The Service: The owners welcomed us in and gave us a tour of the place, taught us how to operate the kitchen appliances, fireplace, etc. They asked us for our plans and if they can customize the stay for us. Our hosts were always looking after our needs. Everything had a personal touch.
The Best Part: The next morning, Guido arrived at the requested time to set our breakfast in the sitting room. After the tiring rush from last few days of packing, it was a treat to have lovingly prepared fruit salad, tea, cakes, sweets, fresh croissants... Like our personal little breakfast buffet!

This place is a little slice of luxury, highly recommended for couples. For families with little kids, this may not be the best place--there are decor and furnishing that may may be too delicate for the curious little ones. I think a stay in this hotel will be a good anniversary gift to parents or friends.

My husband and I recently stayed in their suite 3 and regretted that we did not stay longer! Guido, the owner is a super nice gentleman who has thought of everything to make your stay pleasant. He would even drive and drop you off at a restaurant of your choice! I have stayed in hotels and lots of B&B round the world, but this on really tops it.
The suites are nicely decorated, clean and unlike other European hotels, this one is spacious. Guido gives detail description and directions to all major sights in the Hague and also generously provided us with a day pass so that we could get to all the attractions painlessly using the public transport. How thoughtful! Would return in a heartbeat!

We spent 7 nights in Suite 3 recently. Everything about this property reflects the owners' passion for their hospitality business. The standards throughout, from breakfast to Molton Brown toiletries, to bed linen and exquisite furnishings within the suite are excellent. The owners are most thoughtful and attentive and no request is too much. If you take the breakfast option you will be amazed at the quality of the food and generous quantity - simply fantastic! The location of the property is convenient to the city centre (by a short tram ride) and there are plenty of local eating options of good quality and value. We can recommend the Haagsche Suites most highly to discerning travellers seeking a luxury experience and good value.

Room Tip: Suite 3 on the top floor is a great choice. A very large light filled apartment with up to the minu...

The moment I stepped into the entryway of the Haagsche Suites with it's sweeping staircase and beautiful decorated dark and elegant walls, I knew I had found the place to host the First Ever Boudoir Party Experience in The Hague! Guido had everything beautiful prepared and presented for the women and the space was perfect for such an intimate event. The next morning we were presented with a beautiful breakfast spread of fresh pastries, signature fruit bowls and a cheese & charcuterie plate. It was the perfect ending to an elegant event. I cannot wait to return!

We stayed at Haagsche suites for the weekend. A beautiful B&B with just 3 suites. We stayed at the upper floor (suite 3), which was gorgeous. Breakfast is served in your room and is really outstanding!
The owners are very nice and give you a lot of personal attention and service. Guido brought us to the restaurant on our first evening. He also gave us 2 ov-chipcards, so we could use the tram the entire weekend and left our car at the locked parking place. Tram pick-up point just around the corner.
Fresh flowers, chocolates and fruit every day in the suite!
Just go there and you will not be disappointed! We had a lovely weekend.

This 3-suite hotel has been furnished to a very high standard with unique decor, high-style bath, and all the electronics (eg, an IPOD dock and sound system). The garden is huge for a city property, private, and stunning. Parking is gated and free. The location is excellent, many amenities in the neighborhood, and a short tram ride to downtown. Best of all, the owners' hospitality is unbeatable. From sweet treats, tulips, and a well-stocked kitchen to helping us deal with our rental car breakdown, their caring attention was beyond good service. All in all, a real gem.

Room Tip: 3rd-floor suite has great balcony
