“Nice business hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 13, 2012

If you need to concentrate when you on business in DH and be sure nobody (i.e. hotel staff, neighbours) disturbes you thats the place to go. It will take 5-10 minutes on train to get to the Central Station and another 5-10 minutes to city center.

Agree with fellow reviewer below - place is good, clean but is completely sterile in terms of attitude. They see you as a paying device and not helpful. Free wifi in the lobby only. Probably ideal for business late night arrival, one night stay and out, but not more than that.

I was born in this city, spent my youth not far from this hotel. First time back after 6 years, I did not believe what I saw. These sky-scrapers, this brand-new region-train system. Wow!
We stayed on the 15th floor, did not hear the traffic, found the room comfortable and spacious, just the old fashioned TV did not meet the quality.
And: prices in réstaurant and minibar are,,eh,, quite high. If a can of beer (33cl) is offered for €4,50, which is fl 9,90, I might expext at least that it is fresh. It was a month over time however.
Breakfast was super, service ok.

Room Tip: This is a business hotel, but as transporting facilities are good, if the price is right you mght st...

There's absolutely nothing around the area where the hotel is located at except for office buildings so getting food after 5pm is an uphill task unless you don't mind paying for hotel food. We room is large, spacious bathroom and clean. Breakfast was the highlight of our stay in NH. The walk to the central station takes 5-10mins walk or else one can hop on the metro and takes only 2 mins to Den Haag Central. Service was good except for the fact that they asked for 20euro deposit for a converter! Most hotels/hostels I have been to in Europe never asked for any deposit just for a small converter.

Spent one night in the NH for a business meeting in the Hague WTC of which the NH is part. Room was good with two separate comfortable beds, good views of the Hague from the 17th floor, nice amenities, coffee making facilities, safe, a good desk, surprisingly a normal not a flatscreen TV, classy glass bathroom and toilet. Laminate on the floor.

Lunch buffet in the NHube restaurant was quite upscale, not sure about the cost.

There is a really good coffee shop by the Coffee Company in the lobby of the WTC. Of course with matching pricing levels.

Parking was in the WTC parking garage. I had some trouble finding the entrance in the rain all the way at the back of the complex but was helped by the friendly front desk staff. Leaving the garage later was more difficult since the payment machine was broken and I had to return all the way to the reception of the WTC, which cost me some 10 minutes. This was not great.

Also not great was the internet in the room provided by a separate company called Swisscom. In the evening it was very slow at an extortionate rate of 17 Euros per day. This made it difficult to do any real work. Very disappointing for a business centre.

Because this is a 4 star business hotel, you can have really great offers during the weekend. We had a very nice and very cheap stay here for one night on a weekend. Staff was really nice and helpfull, and the room was beautiful and clean. Parking around the hotel is free on the weekends. So all in all a very good deal!

Room Tip: Any room is ok, because insulation is very good.

I have stayed in the hotel more than 40 times over the last 5 years as a regular business traveller to the Hague. The hotel is very good if all you require is a bed for the night - the accommodation is of high quality. However, the hotel lacks any atmosphere and is a brisk 15 to 20 mintues walk from the commercial centre of The Hague (where the majority of restaurants, theatres, nightlife, etc.. are located). The options of food and drinking in the hotel are very limited but of good quality. Also room pricing varies greatly depending on time of year of booking - up to 75% difference for the same room type. Overall, a great hotel if you want to be a at your desk in a near by office in 5 minutes but otherwise there are better hotels in the Hague.

Room Tip: There is little meaningful difference between Standard room and upgraded rooms other than a slightly...
