“Nice hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 23, 2014

Very nice spacious room, clean, comfortable and good situated.
Tram lines in the front of hotel were not in use, so it was very quiet.
We have got a corner room with high ceilings and bay windows overlooking the round square, it was really nice and very romantic.
Breakfast was not too rich but enough.
Parking is available for extra payment at their friend-hotel in 5 minutes on foot.

I would recommend this hotel for stay in Hague.

4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 5, 2014

Stayed here for 4 nights with a friend. Room was spacious, bathroom tiny and dim, but we didn't spend much time in the room. Beds were great, and although there was some street noise, we slept well most nights. It was very warm while we were there, so we did open windows in the evening. Beware in summer: no screens on windows. Easy tram connections and walking distance to shopping and restaurants. WiFi worked well, breakfast not great, although we only ate there one day. Would stay there again - great price!

Stayed here on 24th April for one night (6 of us, two triple rooms) when we arrived the receptionist was dealing with a couple who were also booking in, once booked in she showed them to their room and was gone for about 5 minutes (no big problem, just unusual I thought) once we were booked in we were also shown to our rooms but there also a mini tour of the hotel as well, which door to use after 11pm where the breakfast room is etc..... which is fine, but it would be better/slicker if there was perhaps even one other member of staff working alongside. Its not a complaint by any means merely a suggestion, the hotel rooms were fine, we stayed in room 9 at the back of the hotel which was really quiet and had a large balcony. Location wise its pretty perfect.

Location, close to Peace Palace, easy access to the centraal and the coast by trams, lots of variety restaurants a few blocks away. Friendly & helpful staff, comfortable rooms. Bathroom small but workable, not a problem for us. WiFi worked well and fast in room. Breakfast good. Value for money.

Pillows hard, smell in bathroom but we just kept the vent on. Would stay here again if needed to.

We spent 2 nights at Hotel Sebel. It has 3 doors depending on your room number and very nice welcoming to the reception, free maps and we were given a double room on the corner looking to the square with a very nice view and plenty of windows.Nice bed, clean sheets and towels are added value for the room.We must mention a very unique elevator at the reception area , it has no closed cabin and you could see all the way up which enjoyed very much.We had no breakfast in the hotel but there are very nice coffe shops and restaurants in the area.We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Sebel.

I had the opportunity to stay only for one night at The Sebel along with my wife. Nice, little reception greeted us with warm welcome but more we were fascinated by the big room with huge windows and well chosen furniture. Definitely will stay there again if we visit The Hague again. We wish we had more nights to spend at this hotel. We loved it.

4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 10, 2013

We were given a double room on the top floor. It was spacious, clean and had 5 windows overlooking the lovely square. The views were wonderful, we could see the Peace Palace to the right.
There were two tables and two comfortable armchairs to enjoy the views or read a book.
Beds were alright, maybe not as hard as we would have wished, but after long days walking we had a good night sleep.
Toilet was modern, spacious, had gel & shampoo as well as hairdryer.
The tv was huge and had some international channels.
The area is safe and quiet but there were lovely cafes, restaurants and shops around.
The hotel offered bikes for rent and we had them for a whole day, which is a good and cheap idea if you want to tour the city, as the hotel lies not far from the beach and close to the centre.
They also kept our bags for free in a locker room on the day we were leaving.
Staff was very attentive and always greeted us with a smile.
The only cons we can think of is the noise of the fountain in the middle of the square at night and the lack of ventilation in the bathroom but we can rrecommend this hotel 100%.

Thank you very much for your review! We are pleased to read that you had a pleasant stay.

Following your comment about the ventilation in the bathroom, we checked it, it appeared to be blocked. We have made some adjustments and now it is working fine again.

Thanks again and we hope to welcome you again sometime in our hotel.
