“Great hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 15, 2012

Great staff, especially in reception and in the dining and bar areas. Very friendly and helpful at all times. Location good for our conference at the World Forum and easy tram rides to the beach and city centre.
Housekeeping a little variable with kettles only provided on the first 2 floors! (unless you request). Cups and glasses in the room vanish unexpectedly and one day I had no towels and my nightclothes were left on the floor beneath the bedside table! Shampoo bottle and tissues never replaced once used. Little annoyances but always solved promptly with a call and many apologies given. However, it shouldn't happen.
Comfortable beds, good double glazing - so quiet and overall, a successful stay.

Room Tip: If you want a kettle + coffee/tea etc-ask for one at reception or go for the first/second floors.

“Very comfortable”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 17, 2012

Beautiful hotel. Our room was clean and spacious. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very extensive with lots of choice of hot, cold and continental food. Comfortable bar area where we could entertain guests. Good central location to The Hague. Plenty of parking.

“great hotel at good rate”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 10, 2012

Nice spaces rooms (be sure to ask for one of the new rooms!). Restaurant does nice food! And if you want to eat out but don't want to go into town there is a very good restaurant right around the corner of the hotel building (literally) called "Berlage", recommended as well!

Staff is friendly here.

Wifi is free for guests.

Location, while not in the city centre, it is half way between the city centre and the beach area pf The Hague; both very accessible by public transport: tram and bus!! (I took a group of 150 people on the tram to the city centre from the hotel. That went flawless)

Again, only one less positive remark is to remember to ask for one of the new rooms and a nice view (6th floor is great) because the old ones are rather... well. Just not as nice.

Room Tip: ask for one of the "newer rooms" and with a room with a nice view; you can choose either...

“Handy for Europol, but not much else to recommend”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 6, 2012

I have stayed here several times now as I visit Europol - had I remembered, I would have booked somewhere else. The hotel staff are great, but the hotel itself has little to offer. The bar is boring, the restaurant decidedly average and there is nowhere to visit within walking distance - so you are a bit of a hostage when you book in here. The rooms are bog standard and not very comfortable. Good news - BBC on TV, but terrible hairdryer. I will stay in town and get a cab in next time. Just to say again, the staff are wonderful.

“Bel Air Hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 6, 2012

Good service, clean and comfortable rooms and well situated although not in the center of town. Stayed for a short period but found the service good and the rooms extremely comfortable. The gym is OK and don't know about the restaurant because did not eat at the hotel.

I recommend this hotel.
