Very nice hotel with very helpful and friendly staff. The location is outstanding and food very good. My wife forgot her make up kit and this was forwarded to us by the staff. Cannot ask for more. We visited The Hague and really enjoyed our stay mainly due to the pleasant stay at hotel

I stayed here last weekend and everyone was superb! I had an absolutely massive room which had a sofa and big bath and a fridge I could fill myself; nice big tv, too-with BBC 1 and 2! The bed was huge and fabulously comfy with lots of pillows and luxury bedding. There was a kettle, too-very important for a Brit! The cleaners were very flexible and so friendly, also. Nothing was too much trouble for the front of house people. The barman gave me a wine glass from the bar for my drink, too. The hotel is in a perfect location near all the action-in a every 'villagey' set of streets. Lots of cafés and little independent shops. Supermarket (Albert Heijn) about ten mins away. Easy visit to Delft (no 1 tram) and the Gemeente Museum (no 17 tram) as the Mauritshuis is closed. The Prinsenhof in Delft closed till end May, too.

Room Tip: Room 151 excellent!

Attractive building, pleasant lobby and communal areas. The room was comfortable despite being small, and was quiet too. The breakfast is expensive at over 20 € but there are many cafés right near the hotel which offer alternative options. The location is central, in a quaint, old part of the city.

I stayed in the small room and it's actually fine, clean and well maintained but it's a bit difficult to move around with a medium sized luggage on the floor because the room is too narrow. The location is great though; city center, Chinatown and bus stops can be reached within walking distance and many nice cafes and restaurants around so it would be very functional to stay there if you like to stroll around The Hague. The reception is friendly, the wifi is strong and the heaters are reliable during winter. In addition, the hotel is quiet and if you're lucky, you'll get a nice view to the garden. Just bear in mind that the location is in the expensive area so food and shops nearby are pricey.

Dear Victoria,

Thank you for your positive review.
The staff will be pleased to hear your feedback.

Good to hear that you liked the location, with the different cafés, restaurants and shops.
If you walk a little bit further (10 min.) you are in the main centre, with all the well-known shops.

We have new wifi, so it is great to know that you are satisfied about this.

Our budget rooms are compact indeed. You can request a larger room next time, or book a superior room, to be certain you have more space.

We look forward welcoming you next time in the hotel!

Kind regards,

Management Parkhotel Den Haag

Great location. Don't stay in the small room because very small and not well maintained. So I upgraded to big room which was decent and i had also stayed there in the summer. So it worked out in the end.

A very pleasant and beautiful hotel in a brilliant city. The room was very clean, well appointed, wonderfully quiet, and the facilities in the hotel itself excellent. (Bring your own tea bags, if you want tea in your room, as the tea materials provided with the kettle and cups are quite limited.)

Room Tip: As for a room that looks out on the park -- the views are wonderful.

Located in the heart of The Hague, this is a very nice, handy, no-nonsense hotel. Friendly staff, nice reception and lounge (with newspapers and wi-fi). Rooms functional and with all the essentials, including a water heater and coffee. My one critical comment would be that the bar closes early (was there at 23.30 hours and things had already been "locked up") and that the mini bar is empty (apparently too difficult and time-consuming to administer these..). If you are a regular guest, this is apparently no problem, as the little store across the road stocks all required items. If you are a late-arriving, thirsty, first-time visitor however, it means a glass of water from the tap (quite drinkable, incidentally!). Shall definitely return. Irrespective.

Room Tip: Facing the back is possibly quieter.

Dear Gerhard,

Thank you for your positive review and your kind words.

Sorry to hear that you wanted to drink something and the bar was closed.
When it is a quiet night the bar tender can decide to close the bar earlier.
Next time please let us know at the reception and we will make sure you will get your drink.

It is correct that our minibars are empty. You can use it as a fridge and put your own things in it.
If you would like to have a filled minibar, we can take care of that.

We look forward welcoming you next time!

Kind regards,

Management Parkhotel Den Haag
