“Great comfort for business travellers”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 30, 2012

Great business hotel.
Quiet, clean, comfortable rooms, great location (if you're not too dependent on public transport), free wifi (not brilliantly fast, but ok).
The rooms and especially the hotel entrance/hallway have a great authentic feel. Really love it.
Prices fluctuate strongly, so be sure to check rates before you book.

I actually stayed the night Park Hotel celebrated their 100th birthday. During check-in I noticed there was a reception/small party going on and so I feared I wouldn't get too much sleep that night (and in a way I could understand that; it was, in fact their 100th birthday). But nothing of that. Even though it must have been a special and busy night for staff, they took great care and time. They had ensured as well that the party would not disturb the guests. Kudos for that. It's on these kind of nights the true quality of service shines through.

So, yes, I would recommend it for business travellers.

Room Tip: If you have the chance, avoid the rooms at the frontside of the hotel. I didn't have any problem...

i went to The Hague with Japanese group from Tokyo, we arrived by bus around 8 PM and the porterage from hotel already ready to serve at the bus stopping place.
the check-in process also fast and smooth.
the stairs was fairly enough, so we used the lift, but the lift just only two and small, but it is not a problem afterall, since we know the building is old and i like it.
the breakfast i like it, especially since i can sit near the window and get my breakfast while staring to the park outside, lovely.
i like this hotel, and would be glad if have another chance to visit this hotel and stal longer.

I stayed here the better part of a week on a business trip. My room was clean, modern, with a nice sized bed. Everything was new. The bathroom had an annoying step up into it. Once navigated, the room was fine. The shower had no curtain on it. It is one of those "modern" showers that have water running all around. Towels were ample but could have been bigger. The WIFI frequently failed to work at its best (I was on the second floor). The main staircase has incredibly narrow steps. Elderly people should avoid these at all costs. Staff is friendly, location great and the lobby is large and welcoming. I did not have breakfast but there is a nice room for it.

Room Tip: Avoid rooms on the street side: noisy

Used this as a business hotel 3x now and will continue to do so. Nice rooms, free wifi, friendly staff and a good location.

A new Sunday English carvery will no doubt appeal to the UK ex pat community!

If you're driving, park your car at 'Geest 1' parcade and walk to the hotel ( 5 min)- there are only 5 parking stalls and they were full when we arrived. Navigating the pedestrian-filled shopping streets to the parcade was not ideal - I wish we had known about the parcade!
The rooms are small, but nicely furnished and clean. The bathroom is beautifully done, but is tiny and without a separate shower.
The AC was great as was the hotel garden courtyard.

The hotel is located close to a nice area (shops, museums, restaurants) of Den Haag,in the street you'll find several nice small lunch/breakfast rooms. Lovely view of Palace Noordeinde at the back of the hotel. We had a very large room with sofa and chair + desk, coffee/tea (allthough they might have added a bit more coffee packets) making facilities and a small fridge. Bathroom is fully equiped, and everything was clean and looked rather new. The staff were very friendly. Unfortunately we did not have a chance to enjoy breakfast (slept in late), the hotel looks nice, eg the bar/lobby and breakfastroom. The checkin/check out times are excellent (15.00-12.00), which allows you a full day in the Hague if you're only staying for the night as we did to enjoy the yearly Museum Nacht!! If you want to keep out the early light, the sunblocking curtains are great! Windows can be opened to allow a soft breeze during the night. Parking is available in the hotel, but they only have limited parking places, but you can park in the Torengarage, which is only a few minutes walk and the hotel offers you a discounted parking fee for 24 hours.

Room Tip: Rooms at the back (garden) are probably quieter and offer a nice view. Upon booking you can opt for...

The hotel's location is simply perfect and close to the shops and restaurants. The reception staff are nice and helpful. We stayed in a siperior room. The toilets are rennovated and elegant. Free wi-fi. However, the housekeeping is extremely poor, although we informed the staff more than once no change was observed. The floor both in the room and bathroom was not wiped and remained dusty for our whole stay. The bed was fixed only and the toilet seat was cleaned, Bed sheets were not changed. Room service was only available from 17:00 till 22:00 and the minibar in the room is empty so you should consider getting a bottle of water.
