This is a great hotel, come with comfort bed, friendly staff and good location. We stayed there for six nights and my parents can just stay in the room to play with their grandchild for most of the times. We managed to get a good rest during our 2 weeks stay in europe over here, thanks to their comfy bed! I think the best way to show my appreciation towards the friendly and lovely staff is through letting others know about this hotel. Hope they keep up the good quality ;-)

regards,
Ahbi

Had a great time in Den Haag. This hotel is an excellent spot if you want to walk around Den Haag and enjoy all the city has to offer. The building is not very nice, the lobby is small and dark and common areas aren't particularly great but the rooms are nice and bathrooms OK although rather small. We had a coner suite with a seating area which wass pleasant - even if sofas weren't very comfortable and windows could not be opened. The bed was amazingly comfortable. The views on the park in front of the hotel were very pleasant. Breakfast is nothing special. Service is average. Nothing exciting but very professional though. In other words, good hotel, not great.

Stayed here for 3 nights in May 2006, visited a great festival called the Parsa Marlam, it’s a yearly Dutch Indonesian festival, it’s worth a visit. The Hotel is across the street for the yearly event. The Hotel is in a perfect central location, the service is great and the beds are extremely comfortable. It’s a nice cosy hotel and I would recommend this staying here if you have high standards.

The Sofitel is located next to the trainstation. This isn't the most beautiful part of The Hague, but within a few minutes walk you are right in the centre, at De Lange Voorhout and Het Binnenhof.

The hotel has recently been renovated; the style is a bit asian. The only thing we've missed are the Bangkok skyline and the palmtrees when looking out of the windows (:-)). The rooms are quite spacious and our bed was fantastic.

The staff is very friendly and helpfull. Much better than in other 4 or 5 star hotels. We would definitly stay here again.

We stayed at the Sofitel den Haag late November 2005 and were delighted with the hotel. We selected this hotel because of the good Tripadvisor reviews. thanks everyone!

The Sofitel is next to the Den Haag Central station and has most helpful staff and excellent facilities. The bedroom was on the 9th floor (non-smoking), and was a very comfortable and attractive room with coffee and teamaking facilities. A high standard breakfast was included in the room price, otherwise it would have been rather expensive at 22 euro so look for inclusive prices on the web.

The restaurant was superb with typical lunchtime bill coming to 78 euros for 2 people but well worth it if you want a first class meal. There are lower priced meals also in the bar.

If you like art, the Hague has wonderful art galleries - the Maurithuis (Vermeer's Girl with Pearl Earring is here) and the Gemeentemuseum (Municipal Museum) with Mondrian's superb works. From the Central Station you can get to Rotterdam and Amsterdam very easily on the highly efficient and reasonably priced railway system - Rotterdam also has great museums like the Boijman van Beuningen Museum.
