“Pleasantly surprised”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 16, 2013

Together with 2 of my children we visited Madurodam in the first week of January. It was quite busy. We were surprised by the diversity and amount of information and interactivity we got about various monuments, facilities, cities etc. in Holland. We spent about 3 hours walking around and ate in one of the restaurants. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The price was relatively high I think, but as we had a combination ticket with the Omniversum the price was overall ok.
I would recommend this attraction to everyone who wants to see and learn a lot about Holland in a couple of hours in an amusing way.

“Boring if your over 8”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed January 10, 2013

I visited with family over the holidays and was a bit disappointed, i expected the models to be more intricate and the park to be better designed. There were lots of people and the visitor journey didn't flow very well. It was also very expensive for what it was.

“For children and adults”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 5, 2013 via mobile

When I entered Madurodam I thougt that I would spend here not more that half an hour. But after more than 2 hours spent there still there were places which we did not explore accurately. A lot of interactive exhibits, everything is moving, ships are burning, the plains are almost ready to rake off, even dancing birds. The crows looked like somewhat fantastic being half sized of Madurodam's buildings. I wondered how precisely and accurate they reproduced all models in the museum. No doubts, this is must see!

“A new renovated attraction”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 3, 2013

The site had been renovated and re-open in April to the public...The minatures building is superb and it is a marvellous job as to how it is built with such accuracy...There is a fire pump station where you can try to save a ship which is on fire and also try the loading of containers onto a container ship docked by the berth... We had a wonderful morning with bright sunshine throughout our 4 hours visit with the kids. There is also a restaurant serving fast food and cold beer with sufficient place to rest and also free toilets to use. You can reach this attraction by Tram #1 from Centraal station line.

“Nice Re-Vamp.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 2, 2013

Madurodam was closed for quite some time while it received a total makeover. It was a success. The displays became interactive and more interesting than they had been in the past.
