Had tapas in a charming fascinating combination of exotic and olde world atmosphere. Food was outstanding too!

“A good restaurant with a non-PC name”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 30, 2008

A small restaurant near the center of the Hague, Netherlands. You can't miss it with the little character in balck face playing the piano in the front window. The inside of the restaurant looks like and old building in a medieval/castle motif thus I have no idea why it is called Bojangles. I ordered the ribs which were large portions with a dry rub. If you like "fall of the bone" ribs you can eat with a fork you will not like these ribs however if you like a good dry rub and gnawing these are the ribs for you. RIbs came with a small salad and potatoes. Girlfriend ordered the steak that came with salad and fries. With the meal we ordered a bottle of house red for about $17 euros. My girlfriends steak was nice and juicy. The portions were definelty big for European standards and we had more than enough food. For dessert we split the perfiteroles with vanilla ice cream and whipped cream for about 7 euros. A good choice for two becuase like everything else in this restaurant it was large. Total for the whole meal was about $55 euros. If I was in the Hague I would definelty go back for the food.
