“no value for money”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed May 7, 2013

i stayed 2 night in a waterfront room. The room was nice and clean, the building was quite dirty, lots of dust caused by the refurbishment works in progress during my stay.
The location is good, everything is in walking distance.
But the worst is yet to come:
I saw some women in the swimming pool COMPLETELY DRESSED, something really anti-hygienic!

This was my first stay at the inntel hotel and was infact recommended by a friend of mine who travels quite a bit.

The hotel is well equipped with health suite (free) and gym (free) and clean with not too fussy decoration- I would say this hotel has more of a contemporary feel to it. I guess due to the location there are a number of business clientele who would stay here during the working week but at the weekends it lends itself to leisure trips and couples.

The rooms are simply decorated also but are furnished with very comfortable beds, a large flat screen tv and ample bathroom. there is also tea and coffee making facilities

this was a very comfortable stay and reasonably priced. Our room had a great view of the port and provided us with some great shots as the sun rose and set in the evenings.

The other major bonus to this hotel is that it is right on the metro line. as you come out of the subway... it is right there!... perfect.

Room Tip: request a room overlooking the port

I'm a frequent business visitor to Rotterdam and this is my hotel of preference, in fact I have been staying regularly at the Inntel for 9 months so they must be doing something right. I love the designer vibe to the Hotel, I've only stayed at the Panorama rooms which offer nice views, rooms aren't massive but just the right size. The air conditioning in the rooms is very effective and very quite unlike some other hotels.
The location is perfect near the main shopping and business areas of central Rotterdam. There are numerous lovely restaurants nearby - all within a 5 minute walk from the the hotel.
I frequently dine in at the restaurant , although the service can be a tad slow, the food is of good quality and quite reasonably priced. All in all, one of the best hotels in Rotterdam

Room Tip: Design Panorama Top with river view

great hotel with a beautiful spa and gym.. the sights are beautiful, overlooking the Maas river... :-) the bar is beautiful.
The breakfast is a good spread, with several options, plus the meals are good too...
if you like a city trip, this is the place to go to.. centrally located and an easy walk to the centre...
also good for business travellers...

Room Tip: ask for the one with a view to the Maas...

The hotel is ultra modern and well situated in central Rotterdam surrounded by canals, bridges, roads and everything else a Rotterdam addict would love. Perhaps I got off to a bad start, waiting 25 minutes to check in behind a group of college kids, but the missing ceiling tiles above the reception desk didn't enhance my first impressions. The room was clean but stark-all grey and brown with unbreakable minimalist furniture. It was, in fairness, quiet functional with a good shower but slightly depressing, a little like a celebrity room in a low security prison. The breakfast by by contrast was fantastic: hot and cold buffet with plenty of everything to suit every taste, served in a bright and cheerful room with an excellent waterfront view. Would I stay here again? well I wouldn't deliberately not stay, put it that way...

Love the bed. Very comfy. Check in was speedy and greeted promptly with full Dutch hospitality.
Room has an excellent view of the canal front and famed Erasmus Bridge. Location of Inntel is very strategic to most touristy areas.

Will return to this hotel if visit Rotterdam in future.

Room Tip: Taking a cab to the hotel from Rotterdam Central station will most probably save you time despite th...

I stayed here the weekend of marathon, and you definitely felt it, not only in the city and with the number of runners staying in the hotel, but also the staff in restaurant was dressed as running team. It is easily reachable by public transport, I took metro 3 stops from Central Railwaystation, but tram is also an option. You need about 15 minutes to walk to City hall. As I stayed on 3rd floor (standard riverview), views were probably less than what can be had on upper floors. For relaxing there is small swimming pool on 8th floor with also sauna, and there is ver smallish fitness room with one threadmill and 2/3 other instruments. I only used breakfast in the hotel which had a decent choice of cheese, meat, hot food and also fresh juices and fruit (as well cut as whole). The close neighbourhood was somewhat in construction as new hotel will open next month nextdoors. Welcome was friendly, and gave small map with a walk of 2 / 3 hours "Rondje Rotterdam" which gives good overview of main highlights of the city. Room is clean and new, with large bad, minibar and flatscreen tv. Small bath/shower in the bathroom, and enough amenities with even sewing kit.
